Kiwi is a hybrid caique that needs plenty of attention and an experienced bird family. She is bold and fun, but she will test boundaries, so ability to read her body language is an absolute must. She has never bitten me hard enough to break skin in the 4 years I’ve had her, but she has broken skin on others that are unable to read her cues. Because of this, I would not recommend her for families with young children. Kiwi is her best when she gets plenty of time to play outside of her cage. Kiwi is energetic and curious. She knows several tricks and a couple of words. She comes with a large cage and some accessories.
